Market Note: For commission-only SaaS executives, typical rates are around 10% of contract value, but can range from 5% for large enterprise deals to 15%+ for simpler, transactional sales, with variations based on deal size, sales cycle, quota attainment, and role (e.g., higher for closing, lower for renewals). While 10% is standard, higher rates often come with accelerators for over-quota performance or higher deal complexity, notes CaptivateIQ and QuotaPath.

Key Responsibilities [mandatory]:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities

    • expand the company’s client base

    • use email & 1-on-1 calling, onsite visits marketing using our CRM system, door-to-door prospecting, referrals, pre-scheduled appointments, and networking

  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients

    • building solid relationships

  • Proactively address

    • and overcome objections from potential clients

    • by demonstrating the advantages and reliability of our products & services

  • Collaborate

    • with internal managers

    • to generate and provide competitive quotes to clients

  • With the support of internal staff

    • close new deals

    • and guide clients through the onboarding process

  • Maintain up-to-date

    • documentation of client interactions in our CRM

    • proposed solutions, action plans, etc. in our CRM
